About Us

The Academic Chapter of the International Game Developer’s Association at George Brown College would like to welcome you to the IGDA! The IGDA is the world’s largest non-profit membership service organization in the world serving all individuals who create games.  The purpose of the IGDA is to advance the careers and enhance the lives of game developers by connecting members with their peers, promoting professional development and advocating on issues that affect our community. Membership in the IGDA gets you discounts on software, resources, and events to support your career in the games industry. As a George Brown student enrolled in any game programs you have a free IGDA membership waiting for you.

The George Brown IGDA Chapter organizes bi-weekly meetups, networking events, and workshops in order to support, encourage and challenge all students looking for a career in the games industry. We welcome any and all students that want to be a part of the community!
